Hi, I’m Kendall, founder of Sweet Chaos Bakery and a gluten-free human since 2011.

Like a lot of people who’ve cut gluten for health reasons, I quickly realized that most gluten-free bread products sucked. They were dry, crumbly, weirdly sweet and a little styrofoamy.

My family looked around for paleo, gluten-free options, and we didn’t really find much. So we started making our own. Not because we wanted to run a bakery, but because we wanted to eat something that tasted delicious. Personally, the chocolate chip bagels are my favorite.

These bagels have become a staple in our freezer. We tweaked and perfected the recipes over years of weekend breakfasts, rushed mornings, and late-night snack missions. They had to be gluten-free, but also grain-free, dairy-free, and made with real ingredients that made our bodies feel good. And they had to taste amazing. No settling. No “good for gluten-free.” Just good.

Eventually, people started asking for them. Then begging for them. And now here you are, on our website, maybe wondering if a paleo, gluten-free bagel could actually be worth ordering online.

They are. We’ve boiled them, baked them, frozen them, shipped them, and lived off them. We made them for our family first and now we’re making them for yours.
